‒ Applying Principles of Teamwork to Non-Traditional Groups
Many departments in organizations operate as loose coalitions, collections of individuals, and islands of isolated effort. Sales, Customer Support, Operations, and many Executives often fall into these categories.
While the nature of their work is such that they do not meet the traditional definition of a “team”, there are a great many benefits which these organizations can derive from learning to employ some of the critical tools and skills which power high-performing teams.
In this keynote, we will discuss some of the critical skills applicable to both teams and groups, and review case studies from organizations and teams employing these methods in their traditionally individualized groups.
