My passion for team-building and leadership has led me from project management to Agile coaching and training. This in-turn has led me on some great adventures around the world and has allowed me to meet some incredible people. Now starting GWS Partners in London I plan to grow my experience whilst helping organisations to really find their potential.
In my last role as the Training Services Director of Eliassen Group’s Agile Consultancy, I managed the training effort of the $46 million organization. This included directing Agile coaches and trainers, creating training materials and managing training events. Whilst also coaching teams, trainers and coaches themselves and, of course, delivering training. This role really rounded out my coaching and training skills, leading me to coach at both a team and an enterprise level whilst also honing my training skills with classes delivered around the world and presenting to industry groups of up to 700 people.
I have delivered training and coaching at universities (Harvard and Villanova), to enterprises (Shell, EMC-Dell, United Airlines, Bank of America, BNY Mellon, HP Madrid etc) and to governmental groups (Dept. of Labor Statistics). This has led me to work in many places with many cultures; India, Ireland, Spain, Australia, USA and the UK.
I have created and taught many different classes from Introductions to Agile up to ICAgile Coaching classes and have coached and mentored C-level Executive teams. I have also delivered role and skill focused courses such as Agile for Business Analysis, Agile Testing, Agile for Project Managers and Writing Requirements in Agile.
I have also been lucky enough to be invited to speak regularly at industry events, such as AgileBoston, Agile Cincinnati 2016, Southern Fried Agile, PMI Mega Event 2017 and for the IIL’s Agile and Scrum 2016 conference. I was also the keynote speaker for the AgileIndy 2017 conference and will be speaking at ScrumDay Portugal in October 2017.
